Waste Not occupies a very unique niche in our community.

We are not a food bank, yet we feed hungry people every day. Our trucks and drivers are on the road six days per week, beginning at 6:30 am, collecting an average of 8-10,000 pounds of excess perishable food daily from caterers and grocers – food that would otherwise be thrown away. We deliver the food the same day to more than 60 diverse agencies that feed the hungry including schools, after-school programs, daycare centers, rehabilitation centers, transition homes and senior facilities.

Waste Not's Mission

Every day, millions of dollars' worth of food goes to waste, while thousands go hungry in the Phoenix area. Waste Not delivers the innovative solution to fighting hunger for those in need and combating waste in the environment.

Waste Not's Vision

We envision a community where wasted food is a thing of the past and no request for food goes unanswered.
