Thermo King
Thermo King Corporation was founded 80 years ago to ensure the safe, refrigerated transport of perishable foods so that people could enjoy fresh, healthy meals both locally and around the world.
As part of the “We Move Food” program, we aim to close the very real gap between the 41 million Americans who struggle with hunger and the nearly $220 billion dollars of food that is thrown away each year in the U.S.
Recognizing that transport refrigeration plays a critical role in eliminating food waste and increasing food stability, our partnership with Waste Not provides a real connection between excess food and those who need it most.

Thermo King is excited to watch this program grow as we further leverage our strong programs like Waste Not. We are happy to support Waste Not financially in order to offset the costs of operating and maintaining a refrigerated fleet, which is the heart of a successful food recovery model.
The mission of the Diane & Bruce Halle Foundation is to strengthen the daily operations and lifelong outcomes for the people and communities of the state of Arizona. The Foundation focuses on building, strengthening and sustaining innovative organizations.

In addition to the community service, the Club also fosters personal growth through leadership within the Club and interaction with the charities supported.

Fry’s Food & Drug has been in the grocery business for 134 years. This experience has taught the company a few things about food and people and that meals matter – families who share meals together have children who do better in every aspect of their lives. With more than 40% of the food produced in the U.S. wasted, yet 1 in 8 Americans struggling with hunger (and the stats in Arizona are worse), the company knows that food waste undermines food security and it is committed to helping.
